I can't tell you how many articles I've read the past week about the availability of homes on the market, the changes in interest rates that are expected to happen, and how all of that affects the people who are in the market to buy homes in the near future. At this point, there is a surge in hopeful homebuyers, a deficit of homes on the market, people paying above appraisal rates and sometimes even in cash. The trend in every article I have read, is that if you are looking into buying something, you shouldn't wait. The interest rates are expected to continue to climb, the inventory of properties is not expected to increase exponentially and depending on what area you are looking at, you could be potentially be influenced by this domino effect. Buying and selling a home can be a daunting and time consuming task. I would just advise that you start doing some homework, starting reading some articles, start looking at houses. Start doing something, that way you know what you could be up against.
